Multimedia Visual Communications Specialist

JST is seeking a Multimedia Visual Communications Specialist to join our team.

This is a full-time remote position. JST offers a full benefit package, a collaborative work environment and strong company culture. Veterans and military spouses are encouraged to apply. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Multimedia Visual Communications Specialist Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality multimedia content including videos, photos, animations, graphics, and interactive presentations.
• Capture and edit photographs and videos to document activities and adhere to DoD guidelines.
• Design visually appealing graphics, logos, infographics, and other visual elements for use in print and digital media, to include signage and presentations to support government customer needs.
• Design and maintain an up-to-date website, ensuring a user-friendly experience and continuous improvements to maintain updated quality and visual appeal, all while adhering to branding guidelines.
• Ensure products comply with branding guidelines and standards, demonstrating a consistent voice and tone throughout.
• Organize, catalog, and archive multimedia content to facilitate easy retrieval, safeguard of critical digital assets and distribution according to DoD requirements.
• Determine appropriate equipment to use for each assignment including cameras, lights, lenses, and attachments.
• Use industry-standard software and equipment for video editing, graphic design, animation, and audio production.
• Ensure multimedia content meets standards for accuracy, security, and relevance considering OPSEC requirements.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform multimedia visual communication strategies and tactics and the forefront of communication practices.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure timely delivery of multimedia products.
• Review and incorporate feedback from stakeholders to improve the quality and effectiveness of multimedia products.
• Participate in discussions and meetings to gather critical information that is key to product development and provide tactical and strategic knowledge in the area of expertise to better inform team members and further the goals and priorities.
• Understand target audiences and tailor products to resonate with audiences to demonstrate the value.
