Location : Central Florida

We are seeking a Florida-licensed Nurse Practitioner with experience in Level 2 NICU and Newborn Nursery for a locum position in Central Florida. The position offers flexible scheduling with a commitment of 4-6 shifts per month.

Details / Requirements :

EMR System : SCM EMR

Shift Schedule : 8 AM - 8 AM (in-house, restricted)

Shift Structure : 24 hours on, 24 hours off, 24 hours on again (no back-to-back shifts)

Newborn Nursery : 25-27 babies per day

NICU : 8-10 babies per day

Responsibilities :

Independently manage newborn nursery babies during the day (Neonatologist handles NICU care)

Respond to emergencies in both the newborn nursery and NICU during the night, with a Neonatologist on call from home within 30 minutes of the hospital.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Florida License (active and in good standing)

Proven track record with a company providing positive feedback

Ability to perform the following independently : Thoracentesis and / or Chest Tube Placement (including removal), Endotracheal Intubation, Umbilical Artery or Vein Catheterization
