Express Employment Professionals in Woodbury, Mn is seeking a talented Electrical Wiring Technician for a custom metal fabricator in the East Metro!

Pay : $31.50 to $38.50 / hr.

Schedule : Monday-Thursday 6 : 00 AM-3 : 00 PM, Friday 6 : 00 AM-12 : 00 PM

We're looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Wiring Technician to join our growing client where they manufacture custom industrial foodservice equipment. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in quality craftsmanship, precise electrical work, and being part of a supportive, hard-working team.

Key Responsibilities - Electrical Wiring & Assembly

  • Perform electrical wiring based on engineering schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings
  • Install and terminate wires, relays, breakers, fuses, contactors, and other components
  • Route and secure wiring to meet durability, safety, and quality standards
  • Ensure wiring is compliant with NEC and other applicable industry codes
  • Make modifications, relocations, or additions as needed during production
  • Conduct continuity and functional testing on completed assemblies
  • Inspect all work to ensure it meets internal standards and code requirements
  • Accurately document test results and make corrections when needed
  • Follow all company safety procedures
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Assist in creating Bills of Materials (BOMs) and selecting appropriate components
  • Support engineering with schematics and layouts
  • Assist project management with load calculations and panel schedules
  • Help field service teams as needed

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Associate degree in a related field (preferred)
  • Journeyman electrician certification (preferred)
  • 3+ years of relevant hands-on electrical experience
  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics
  • Basic math and metric conversion skills
  • Strong communication and adaptability
