Description :

Rehabilitation Occupational Therapy provides treatment for patients with various medical conditions.

These include cardiopulmonary, neurological, orthopedic, trauma, surgical, and oncology populations.

The work schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 07 : 00 to 15 : 30.

There may be flexibility in the start time.

The candidate will be required to work one weekend (Saturday and Sunday) during a four-week period, resulting in an additional day off that week.

Candidates should be prepared to establish treatment plans and provide necessary treatments.

Discharge needs, expected functional status, and appropriate equipment and supplies should be taken into account.

Candidates will educate, collaborate with, and conference with patients, families, and other healthcare providers.

Recommendations for referrals to specialists will be part of the role as needed.

Candidates will delegate tasks to assistants and techs through clear written and verbal communication.

Documentation must comply with departmental policies.

Experience with special equipment such as SPH equipment, vital carts, iPad interpreters, and ADL supplies is essential.

The role involves primary inpatient patient care.

The patient demographic will primarily include adults and geriatrics.
