Food Production Supervisor

Overview

Recruitablez is excited to partner with our client in search of an experienced Production Supervisor to lead 1st shift operations at a food manufacturing facility.

Compensation : Up to $90,000 annually (commensurate with experience)

Shift : 1st Shift

Location : Elgin, IL

Responsibilities

• Supervise and schedule production staff to meet daily and weekly goals.
• Ensure compliance with GMPs, HACCP, FSQA policies, and customer specifications
• Monitor processes for efficiency, yield, and waste ; drive improvements where needed.
• Train, coach, and evaluate team members, partnering with HR as necessary.
• Collaborate with maintenance to reduce downtime and support preventive maintenance.
• Promote a safety-first culture while enforcing OSHA and company safety standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives such as lean manufacturing and 5S.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready environment
