Job Description

As a Security Professional Unarmed Patrol Government Facility in Richmond, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while offering visible support. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining a strong presence to help promote a secure environment, and delivering outstanding customer service through clear communication. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at a government location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergency response activities as appropriate.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered while on patrol.

Work closely with site staff and visitors to provide assistance and support as needed, maintaining a professional presence at all times.

Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly, following Allied Universal guidelines.

What We're Looking For :

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
