Human Resources Training Coordinator (H / F) - SAFRAN LANDING SYSTEMS WHEEL & BRAKE SERVICES, LLC

Mission Description

The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for providing support in various human resource functions, including employee relations, recruitment, benefits, compensation, policies and procedures, training and development, and performance management.

Essential duties and responsibilities include :

  • Serving as a point of contact for employee HR-related inquiries regarding benefits, payroll, policies, and procedures.
  • Conducting new hire orientation and facilitating the onboarding process.
  • Supporting compliance-related tasks, including pre-employment requirements, offboarding paperwork, and maintaining documentation.
  • Assisting in the performance management process by tracking performance reviews and providing support to managers.
  • Assisting with all recruitment activities, including creating job postings, sourcing resumes, completing initial phone screens, updating recruitment activity spreadsheets, scheduling in-person interviews, and following up with candidates.
  • Preparing new hire binders for employees to complete on their first day of employment.
  • Preparing HR reports, dashboards, and metrics as needed.
  • Ensuring I-9 E-Verify is completed and escalating any E-Verify or compliance issues to the Human Resources Manager.
  • Helping administer the company's DOT and non-DOT drug and alcohol programs while ensuring compliance with DOT / FAA regulations and company policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Assisting with bi-weekly payroll processing, timecard management, and attendance tracking.
  • Processing employee changes in the company's HRIS systems.
  • Participating in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Contributing to HR-related projects and initiatives aimed at improving overall HR processes and the employee experience.
  • Coordinating, scheduling, and monitoring training sessions, workshops, and webinars.
  • Assisting with contributing to the instructional design process to develop internal education programs.
  • Utilizing proven techniques to research, design, and develop learning materials for new and existing training programs in various contexts and subjects.
  • Monitoring the effectiveness of training programs and making recommendations that drive continual improvement and support the company's goals.
  • Maintaining all training records and the training matrix.
  • Serving as the company's risk representative.
  • Performing other duties as required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
  • Ability to direct, motivate, and give constructive feedback.
  • Strong understanding of HR policies and procedures, best practices, and employment law.
  • Ability to exercise an extremely high degree of confidentiality with sensitive information.
  • Ability to multi-task, plan work activities proactively, and complete daily tasks or meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Required Education and Experience

    Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field required. Minimum of one to three years of human resource experience preferred.
