Chief Engineer, Air Traffic Systems Automation

You will join our Air Traffic Solutions Chief Engineering Department. In this role, you will lead multifunction teams on products that support air traffic operations around the globe. This is a multi-faceted role where you will be a senior-level individual engineering contributor on proposals and programs with potential program assignments to include : Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL), Control Account Manager (CAM), Product Owner, Systems Engineer, Technical Reviewer and decision maker.

What You Will Do :

• You will work onsite in Marlborough, MA
• Review the technical quality of the work products produced by those in the section while also ensuring that the work is done on schedule and within budget on the engineering portion of the program
• Build a cohesive and collaborative team able to adapt to changing customer needs
• Ensure the team is following established processes, protocols and procedures
• Support the performance of all the members on your teams, including providing open and honest feedback
• Serve as a day-to-day liaison from the programs to engineering management concerning employee job assignments, performance, and recognition for those working in the program and / or product area
• Coordinate program staffing demand needs with Engineering Management
• Lead the cost, schedule and technical activities for Engineering on new ATS pursuits
• This position requires occasional international and domestic travel.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education / training, and key skills. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and / or the company's performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
