Continuous Improvement Coordinator
The Continuous Improvement (CI) Coordinator supports the Continuous Improvement & Infrastructure teams in executing Daniels Health's continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives. This role serves as a vital connector between the CI team, infrastructure, plant operations, and cross-functional departments maintaining essential tools, communication channels, and resources that drive engagement, efficiency, and consistent execution across the network.
The CI Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining training modules, developing and managing the Continuous Improvement & Engineering website, coordinating communications around upcoming trainings and deployments, and managing administrative and logistical tasks such as team travel.
This is a hybrid role requiring both onsite presence at Daniels Health facilities and remote collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Training & Resource Management
- Maintain and update CI training modules, documentation, and process standards to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and alignment with operational objectives.
- Collaborate with CI and Operations leadership to develop engaging and effective training materials.
- Track training participation, completion, and compliance metrics.
- Website & Knowledge Hub Management
- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve the Continuous Improvement & Engineering website (e.g., SharePoint or similar platform).
- Ensure resources, templates, and project documentation are current, accurate, and easy to navigate.
- Partner with IT and Operations teams to optimize user experience and content accessibility.
- Communication & Coordination
- Coordinate and manage communications for upcoming trainings, project deployments, and CI initiatives.
- Support internal awareness campaigns promoting CI efforts, success stories, and best practices.
- Coordinate meeting schedules, workshops, and learning sessions for the CI and Operations teams.
- Travel & Administrative Support
- Coordinate, communicate, and handle administrative duties related to team travel including scheduling, logistics, accommodation arrangements, and expense tracking.
- Maintain accurate travel records and ensure alignment with company policies.
- Provide administrative and project documentation support for CI and Operations leadership as needed.
- Continuous Improvement Support
- Assist in tracking CI project performance metrics, milestones, and outcomes.
- Support preparation of presentations, dashboards, and reports for leadership reviews.
- Contribute to improving CI processes, knowledge-sharing systems, and team collaboration tools.
Qualifications
Education & ExperienceAssociate's degree in Business, Operations, Communications, or a related field preferred.5+ years of experience in an operations, communications, training, or project coordination role.Experience with SharePoint or other internal website / content management systems preferred.Familiarity with Lean or Continuous Improvement principles a strong asset.Skills & CompetenciesStrong organizational and administrative coordination skills.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint).Attention to detail, proactive mindset, and ability to manage multiple priorities.Collaborative and adaptable, with a passion for supporting operational excellence.$45,000 - $60,000 a year
