Senior Tax Analyst
The Senior Tax Analyst is responsible for the preparation of U.S. federal and state income tax returns and workpapers, tax accounting, tax research, and special projects. Prepare federal, state, and local income tax returns, tax extensions, and estimated tax payments. Perform tax research and write memos on federal and state tax issues. Participate in the preparation of ASC740 calculations and analysis. Research and respond to notices from taxing authorities. Participate in tax planning projects and other tax-related initiatives. Other duties as assigned. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Taxation from an accredited college / university 4 years of federal and state corporate income tax experience with a Public Accounting Firm and / or in Private Industry CPA designation Motivated, self starter with the ability to work independently and as a member of the team Proven organization skills with critical attention to detail Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with business partners A reputation and commitment to the highest standards of integrity and ethics Consolidated C Corporation tax return preparation experience Experience with OneSource tax compliance software (also called GoSystems or Fast Tax) Possess an understanding of income tax accounting (ASC 740) Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) Ability to perform tax research and write memos
Compensation Range : $69,230.00 - $149,000.00
