Security Professional Unarmed Patrol Tech / Media Part-Time

As a Security Professional Unarmed Patrol Tech / Media Part-Time in Culver City, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic technology-focused location. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while you conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. This position requires driving as part of your patrol duties. Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

Thur 02 : 30 PM - 07 : 15 PM

Fri 02 : 30 PM - 07 : 15 PM

Sun 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 45 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with directions and information as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site management to support security-related operations and objectives.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • A Security Professional Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
