Our client, a leading ophthalmology practice with multiple clinic locations, is seeking a Clinic Technician Supervisor to oversee and support a team of ophthalmic technicians across six offices. This leadership role is ideal for an experienced COA-certified professional who enjoys mentoring others, improving workflows, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care. Ophthalmology Clinic Technician Supervisor

Location : Manchester, NH (Home Base)

Schedule : Monday - Friday

Pay Rate : Starting at $30+ / hr.

Bonus : Two annual bonuses

Key Responsibilities :

  • Supervise and support ophthalmic technicians across multiple clinic locations.
  • Provide hands-on clinical guidance, ensuring adherence to ophthalmic best practices and patient care standards.
  • Oversee daily staffing schedules, assignments, and coverage needs.
  • Partner with management to train, mentor, and develop team members.
  • Monitor performance metrics and implement coaching strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Assist with maintaining clinical protocols, equipment readiness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as a key liaison between clinical staff and leadership to support efficient operations.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 2 years of ophthalmology experience in a clinical setting (required).
  • COA (Certified Ophthalmic Assistant) certification (required).
  • Proven leadership and team supervision experience, ideally across multiple sites.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with a coaching-oriented management style.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-location healthcare environment.
  • Commitment to high-quality patient care and staff development.
