Demonstrate proficiency on all Bridge Prep Academy School Leadership LeversMeet staff hiring goals and timelinesEnsure high-quality talent review process at least twice per year for teachers and for leaders100% of campus leaders will meet development goals set by the Network TeamUtilize the talent review process to develop school talent and measure leader effectivenessEngage in 100% of the three rounds of staff development cycle for each staff memberImplement BPA school vision, strategy, goals, and objectivesOversight of compliance and implementation of programs : SPED services, Emergent Bilingual services, and RtI.Plan, participate, and / or lead professional development sessions for team membersPresent for students a positive role model that supports the mission, core values, and core habits of the school districtImprove quality of instruction through effective coaching and development : measurable through daily observations, coaching, data conversations, and effective evaluationsBuild content knowledge in critical content areas to improve student outcomesSupervise the implementation of BPA curricula and assessments to meet ambitious academic expectationsReview teachers’ weekly lesson plans and provide feedbackSynthesize, analyze, and prioritize data and opportunities to develop strategies that achieve quantifiable goalsProactively identify opportunities to improve and consistently reflect on past actions to guide future decisionsSupport the creation and implementation of a clear and consistent behavior management system while developing students’ character and sense of communityDevelop a school-wide culture that fosters a productive and enthusiastic learning environment for each studentEnsure that school rules are uniformly observed, and that student discipline is appropriate and equitableDevelop and follow clearly articulated plans for daily operations and implementation of student services, including support services, discipline management, restorative practices, and crisis interventionCommunicate students’ progress with student and familyEstablish and maintain a cooperative working relationship with students and families based on trust, understanding, and respect for the communities in which they identifyEffective facilitation and personal use of technology as a communication and educational tool to improve teacher development, student achievement, and manage work-related tasksDesign and oversee campus-based tutoring programParticipate in weekly manager check-ins, grade-level meetings, before and after-school duties, and school-wide meetings and functionsEngage in summer and year-long district, school, and personal learning and developmentMinimum of 40+ hours spent at school per weekParticipate in student recruitment initiativesCoordinate after-school tutoring, or Saturday school and are based on the needMaintain grade booksParticipate in weekly manager check-ins and observation debrief meetingsCoordinate the delivery of special education services in each student’s IEPCompletes all district, state, and federal reporting requirementsSchedule team meetings and works with other educators cooperatively in developing instructional goals and strategies.Volunteer for student recruitment eventsAttend campus and network professional developmentSupport general education teachers with providing modified or accommodated support in classroomsManage and develop, often in coordination with partner principal on campus for Dean of Operations, PEIMS, College Counselor, Special Education TeamAnalyze student achievement data to identify trends and strategize approaches to improve instructionFacilitate exceptional student achievement through supporting campus-based instructional coachingQualifications
An earned bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institutionMust have a proven track record of personally achieving success and of leading others3+ years of K – 12 teaching experience3+ years of leading a school to dramatic gains in a challenging contextPhysical Requirements : Light work : Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and / or up to 10 pounds of force as frequently as needed to move
