The Project Manager is responsible for cost estimates and general operational oversight of various commercial and industrial electrical construction projects.
This location-based position will have some travel, encompassing work sites in the assigned project area. We have projects in Dacono, Denver, Longmont, Loveland, Highlands Ranch, Henderson and Fort Collins. A company vehicle and fuel card will be provided.
- Various project sites throughout the state of CO. Project Managers primarily work at their assigned project site with occasional travel to the Sturgeon main office in Henderson, CO.
- This position offers relocation assistance, bonus eligibility, and includes a company phone and car.

The Commercial and Industrial (C&I) electrical construction division specializes in large-scale commercial electrical projects, telecommunications, traffic signalization, gas distribution, high voltage distribution service and maintenance. We use Integrated Lean Project Delivery methods, and offer pre-construction services, in-house pre-fabrication, and Building Information Modeling (BIM).
Essential Functions
Prepare project construction schedulesSubmit Requests for Information (RFIs) to clientsManage day-to-day activities of assigned projectsAct as main point of contact for project personnelCoordinate meetings, schedule updates, deliverables, and address open items as requested by clientsPrepare look-ahead documents and weekly / monthly progress reports and billing informationReview and monitor job costs versus budgetsReport regularly to the management teamPrepare complete cost estimates (labor and material) for commercial & industrial projects within deadlinesPerform field take-offs / evaluations for estimate preparationParticipate in the estimate review process with internal and external stakeholdersPrepare bills of material and other information for use by purchasingPrepare complete labor and material cost estimatesSchedule and attend field walk-downs with customers, subcontractors, and construction personnelCompare project documents for accuracy and consistencyAssist in the preparation and submission of change ordersCoordinate with project management and construction personnel throughout the project lifecycleRegular and predictable attendanceOther duties as assignedEssential functions are performed in a company-designated office or field locationAdhere to the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics PolicyWhat We Offer

Salary : $90,000-$125,000 per yearCommensurate with experience; paid weekly.
