The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.

The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025, subject to the satisfaction of customary conditions.

Position Overview :

The Compensation Manager will be responsible for managing and enhancing Versant's broad-based compensation programs to ensure they are competitive, equitable, and aligned with the company's strategic goals. Reporting to the Head of Broad-Based Compensation, this role will lead compensation planning, benchmarking, and analytics, and serve as a key partner to HR Business Partners and business leaders in delivering effective compensation solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Program Design & Execution
• Support the design and delivery of broad-based compensation programs including base salary structures, annual merit processes, and short-term incentive plans.
• Ensure programs are aligned with business strategy, market competitiveness, and internal equity.
• Compensation Planning
• Lead the execution of annual compensation cycles, including merit increases, bonus calculations, and salary adjustments.
• Partner with HR Business Partners and Finance to ensure alignment with budget and workforce planning.
• Market Benchmarking & Analysis
• Conduct job evaluations and market pricing using survey data to maintain competitive pay practices.
• Maintain and update salary ranges and pay structures based on market trends and internal analytics.
• Consultation & Support
• Provide compensation guidance to HR and business leaders on job offers, promotions, and organizational changes.
• Support workforce planning and organizational design efforts with compensation insights.
• Data Management & Reporting
• Develop and maintain compensation dashboards and reports to monitor trends, identify risks, and support strategic decision-making.
• Analyze pay equity and recommend adjustments as needed.
• Compliance & Governance
• Ensure compensation practices comply with applicable laws and regulations (e.g., FLSA, pay transparency).
• Support internal audits and external reporting requirements.
