Job Description
A restaurant group / company seeks to hire an experienced Executive Assistant to support the Owner and Chief of Staff. This role involves a wide range of administrative and personal support tasks, requiring strong organizational skills, professionalism, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
The Executive Assistant will be responsible for calendar management, travel coordination, correspondence, expense reporting, and day-to-day operational support. The successful candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to maintain the highest level of discretion and confidentiality. An interest or background in the food and restaurant industry is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Manage calendars, emails, and scheduling for the Owner and Chief of Staff
- Coordinate and confirm meetings, including logistics and Zoom setup
- Book travel, accommodations, and transportation; prepare itineraries and assist with travel documentation
- Draft, edit, and proofread emails and other official correspondence
- Maintain electronic and physical filing systems
- Monitor media coverage and manage subscriptions
- Reconcile credit card statements and prepare monthly expense reports
- Order and maintain office supplies
- Answer phones, track calls, and manage follow-ups
- Coordinate gifts, thank-you notes, and client communications
- Support personal and family-related tasks, such as health insurance claims, personal correspondence, and calendar management
- Assist with projects and liaise with restaurant VIPs as needed
- Provide on-the-ground coordination for the owner’s local travel and logistics
Requirements
