We are looking for a skilled Consumer Lender - Support specialist to join our team in Missouri City, Texas. Responsibilities :
- Prepare, review, and manage commercial loan documentation, including legal agreements and security instruments, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with loan officers, borrowers, attorneys, and title companies to facilitate the closing and funding of complex commercial loans.
- Analyze title policies to confirm accuracy in legal descriptions, loan amounts, and exceptions, while preparing precise loan closing instructions.
- Book loans into the core system with proper coding for product type, collateral, escrow, and other specifications.
- Monitor and balance financial transactions daily to ensure accurate loan funding.
- Offer expert guidance on loan documentation, assisting team members in interpreting complex agreements and policies.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of company policies, procedures, and federal and state regulations governing lending practices.
- Provide exceptional service to lenders and lending staff, ensuring service guarantees are consistently met.
- Participate in compliance training and certification programs, completing them on time.
- Take on additional tasks, special projects, or responsibilities as assigned by management.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in loan document review and closing, including expertise in at least two lending areas such as Corporate / Energy or Middle Market.
- Comprehensive knowledge of loan processes, closing procedures, insurance requirements, and banking regulations.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with a positive customer service attitude.
- Ability to read, interpret, and draft various documents including policies and correspondence.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently as well as in a team environment.
- Proficiency in calculating rates, interest, and percentages, as well as solving practical problems using common sense approaches.
