job_description.job_card.job_descriptionPerform dental cleanings, prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and fluoride treatments Take and interpret dental radiographs (x-rays) Conduct oral health assessments, including charting conditions of teeth and gums Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options Apply sealants and other preventive agents Assist with patient triage and support dentists during examinations or procedures as needed Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic health system Ensure compliance with infection control, OSHA, HIPAA, and clinic safety protocols Collaborate with dentists, assistants, and team members to deliver seamless care
Required Skills & Experience
- Current Minnesota Dental Hygienist license
- Local anesthesia certification (preferred or willingness to obtain)
- Nitrous oxide administration certification (preferred)
- Strong clinical skills in preventive and periodontal care
- Excellent patient communication, cultural sensitivity, and education skills
- Commitment to teamwork, compassion, and community service
- Previous experience in a community or public health setting a plus

Responsibilities
Compensation :
$93,600 to $124,800 per year annual salary.
