Job Description :

Winchester Hospital, a member of Beth Israel Lahey Health, has a new Outreach & Engagement Coordinator position on our Maternal Child Health Services Team. Winchester Hospital is a 5x Magnet designated, Top Massachusetts recognized 223-bed regional hospital that is the leading provider of comprehensive health care services in the northwest suburban Boston area.

Contribute to the Hospital's mission to care, to heal, and to excel in service to our community by serving as an ambassador to the Obstetrical Service in order to grow the business and positively impact patient experience.

Qualifications

Education : High School diploma or equivalent required.

Experience : 23 years of prior customer service or patient care experience, including experience working with physicians in a community-based setting.

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities :

• Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities effectively while maintaining confidentiality and cultural sensitivity.
• Basic understanding of medical terminology.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and workflows.
• Strong leadership and management skills; collaborative and team-oriented.
• Experience with Epic, Epic Healthy Planet, and Arcadia preferred.
• Social media skills preferred.

Occasional weekends and frequent evenings are required as well as frequent travel between campuses, and community events and organizations.
