About the Role

Over the Top Bakery is seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Bakery Cashier / Associate . This is a part-time position typically 6-12  hours per week , with additional hours available when team members are out or during busy periods. It's a great fit for someone looking for a flexible, fun environment where you can work directly with customers, support bakery operations, and be part of a small, local team.

Key Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers with purchases in a friendly and professional manner

Operate the cash register and handle payments accurately

Support bakery prep work such as packaging, labeling, and light food preparation

Assist with dishwashing and general cleaning to keep the bakery tidy and welcoming

Restock displays and maintain organized work areas

Follow all food safety and hygiene standards

What Were Looking For

Previous experience in customer service, retail, or food service preferred

• Comfortable with cashiering, light food prep, and dishwashing

Thursday availability required (our greatest coverage need)

Friendly, dependable, and willing to jump in where needed

Reliable transportation to and from the bakery

Compensation & Schedule

Pay : $16 / hour (base rate) + tips

Schedule :  Varies; typically 6-12 hours per week with opportunity for more coverage

Work environment : Small, local bakery with a supportive, upbeat team
