Assignment Length : 13 weeks

Healthcare Setting : Medical-Surgical (Med / Surg) Unit

Nursing Shift : 12-hour night shifts (3 shifts per week)

Start Date : November 10, 2025

Employment Type : Travel Nursing, On-Site

Openings : 4 RN positions available

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1610 - $1730

Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee or compact state

BLS Certification (required prior to first shift)

ACLS Certification (required prior to first shift)

Minimum 1 year of recent clinical experience in a Med / Surg nursing job (2 years preferred)

Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills

Experience in travel nursing or healthcare jobs preferred

Med / Surg RN Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized patient care plans

Deliver high-quality, compassionate care in accordance with clinical protocols and safety standards

Supervise and provide direction to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and new staff

Accurately document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members, patients, and families

Initiate discharge planning and patient education from admission

Promote a safe hospital environment by following safety policies and procedures

Contribute to a positive team environment and participate in unit-based activities

Assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed after orientation
