Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details : \n

  • Work 12.5-hour day shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 30 PM

    • \n

  • Every other weekend schedule required

    • \n

  • Holiday shifts required

    • \n

  • Block schedule approved

  • 13-week assignment duration

    • \n

  • Guaranteed 36 or 48 hours per week

  • Auto offer position

  • Care for cardiac telemetry patients with focus on heart failure patients

    • \n

  • Patient ratio of 1 : 5-6

    • \n

  • 24-bed unit

    • \n

  • Required to interpret telemetry strips, administer medications, complete charting assessments, and participate in bedside shift reports

    • \n

  • Must be comfortable with cardiac drips that are NOT titrated

    • \n

  • Floating to other units required

    • \n

  • Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, and Indiana state license

    • \n

  • 1 year of experience required

    • \n

  • Navy scrubs required

    • \n

  • Electronic medical record system : Cerner

    • \n

  • Must be greater than 50 miles from facility (local candidates not accepted)

    • \n

  • Must attach required license and certifications or application will be rejected
