The Sanitation Worker plays a critical role in maintaining cleanliness, safety, and regulatory compliance within Northline Seafoods' Head & Gut processing operations. This position is responsible for ensuring all equipment, processing areas, and workstations meet company standards and regulatory requirements, supporting a safe and efficient production environment.

This is a temporary position for our winter processing operations, with potential for continued employment.

Essential Duties :

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of processing equipment, conveyor lines, floors, drains, and work surfaces in the Head & Gut facility.
• Follow established cleaning procedures, including rinsing, foaming, scrubbing, and sanitizing using approved chemicals and equipment.
• Safely disassemble and reassemble machinery for thorough cleaning, ensuring no equipment damage.
• Monitor chemical concentrations and usage; maintain accurate sanitation records.
• Dispose of waste and by-products in compliance with environmental and food safety regulations.
• Inspect cleaned areas to verify sanitation and readiness for production.
• Report safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, or sanitation issues to supervisors.
• Follow all OSHA, FDA, USDA, and company safety policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to meet sanitation requirements.
