The Swimming Pool Repair Sales Manager is responsible for coordinating and managing all repair-related sales activities for existing pool maintenance customers. This position bridges communication between the customer, diagnostic technicians, and repair crews to ensure efficient scheduling, clear communication, and quality execution of repair work.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and an exceptional communicator who can manage both in-house technicians and subcontractors to complete jobs efficiently and profitably.
Key Responsibilities
Customer CoordinationServe as the primary point of contact for customers requiring pool repairs.
Schedule diagnostic visits with current maintenance clients promptly and efficiently.Clearly explain findings, repair options, and associated costs to customers in a professional, easy-to-understand manner.Provide timely follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and approval for repair work.Internal Communication & SchedulingCoordinate diagnostic schedules with maintenance teams to minimize downtime and ensure smooth customer experiences.
Communicate job details, materials, and timelines to in-house repair technicians and subcontractors.Track job progress, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are consistently met.Sales & Administrative DutiesPrepare and deliver repair estimates based on diagnostic reports.
Manage repair approvals and coordinate scheduling through completion.Maintain accurate records of all quotes, invoices, and communications within the companys CRM or job management system.Identify opportunities to upsell repair or equipment upgrades when beneficial to the customer.Team & Vendor CoordinationAssign and oversee subcontractor work as needed, ensuring compliance with company standards.
Communicate material and inventory needs.Provide weekly reports on sales performance, upcoming projects, and customer feedback.Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in pool service, repair coordination, or related sales management role.Strong verbal and written communication skills ability to clearly explain technical information to non-technical customers.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Experience managing multiple projects and coordinating field teams.Proficient with CRM or scheduling software.Knowledge of pool equipment, hydraulics, and repair terminology is strongly preferred.Key Traits for Success
