Medical Assistant - bilingual preferred

Location : Denver Colorado

Pay rate : $19.81-$30.73

Shift : Monday through Friday

Hours : Days

As a part of Uptown Community Health Center, Seton Women's Center sees patients of all backgrounds for Obstetrics and Gynecological care. As the main clinic for a Residency program we have over 25 different Providers who rotate through our clinic.

Our Medical Assistants (MAs) are highly valued team members with an important role in our health center. Our MAs work in partnership with our providers and other clinic staff to provide excellent patient care in our patient centered medical home model.

As a Medical Assistant you will :

Assume responsibility and accountability for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team, and the patient / family to identify and meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the patient.

May perform a variety of clinical tasks as directed by an authorized health care provider in accordance with our MA Scope of Practice.

May assist with front office duties and scheduling of tests and / or patient appointments. Responsible for accurate chart documentation and medical record maintenance.

Demonstrates personal accountability for relationship‐based care, organizational mission, and core values. Medical Assistants are essential to delivering whole person care to our patients.

Qualifications

Required :

Completion of an accredited medical assistant program

Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers required

High School diploma or GED equivalent required

Preferred :

Two (2) years experience in integrated healthcare or primary care.

Experience with Epic application and heath record.

Experience working with and sensitivity toward special populations, including those with limited income, limited education, and non-English speaking individuals.

Bilingual English / Spanish, complete comprehension, literacy and fluency in both languages
