Security Officer - Healthcare Unarmed Patrol

As a Security Officer - Healthcare Unarmed Patrol in Culver City, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help maintain a secure and welcoming environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your presence and routine patrols will help to deter security-related incidents while you deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate : $18.67 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

Monday 02 : 30 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Tuesday 02 : 30 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Wednesday 02 : 30 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Saturday 02 : 30 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Sunday 02 : 30 PM - 11 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare location in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel or authorities.
  • Assist with access control, including verifying credentials of individuals entering restricted areas of the healthcare location.
  • Support emergency preparedness and response activities, including evacuations or drills, as required by the site.
  • Maintain clear and accurate documentation of daily activities, incidents, and observations during each shift.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • A Security Professional Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
