Here are some additional requirements we're looking for :
Physical Demands :
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. unassisted and 100+ lbs. assisted, with prolonged periods of standing and walking.
Emotional Demands :
Must be emotionally resilient and comfortable with the emotional aspects of veterinary work, including handling a variety of animals with diverse behavioral and medical needs, and performing humane euthanasia.
Schedule and Attendance :
Required to be punctual for scheduled shifts during operational hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Attendance at regular team meetings and one-on-one meetings with direct leaders is necessary, and there may be a need to work at different sites or attend occasional off-site meetings and events.
Work Environment :
The environment can be dirty, wet, warm, and humid, with exposure to zoonotic diseases, pests such as fleas and ticks, unpleasant odors, chemicals, and noises, including barking. There is a possibility of being bitten or scratched, and exposure to extreme weather conditions such as cold, heat, rain, and snow when outside.
