About The Position

Job Title : IMC RN

Must-Have :

• Previous Charge Experience preferred
• Communication with AIDET
• Great customer service and phone etiquette

Description :

Bedside shift reporting and utilization of AIDET are required for this unit.

Hourly rounding is necessary for all RN units.

This position offers a 13-week contract with variable days.

Candidates must be flexible with shifts including early and late hours.

Weekends and holidays are required.

Staffing covers every other holiday.

Floating to cover medical-surgical units is mandatory.

Candidates must be willing to float to assist with CNA and team RN tasks as needed.

Oncology and chemotherapy experience are not required; however, agency staff will not administer chemotherapy unless specially trained.

Candidates are expected to manage a wide range of patient needs.

Daily patient care will include conditions such as CHF, COPD, wounds, UTIs, and all cancers with chemotherapy-related side effects.

Interdisciplinary support will include physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams.

Special equipment and procedures may be required; candidates must be prepared for varied responsibilities.

Effective communication and patient interaction are critical for success in this role.
