Job Details

Responsibilities :

  • Provide legal representation to clients in probate, estate planning, and family law matters including divorce, child custody, child support, adoptions, and guardianship.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to develop case strategies and legal arguments.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, wills, trusts, and other legal documents.
  • Negotiate settlements and represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations.
  • Provide legal advice to clients on their rights and obligations, ensuring they understand the legal complexities of their situations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional client service.
  • Collaborate with legal team members to ensure the effective and efficient handling of cases.
  • Stay updated on current laws and regulations within the areas of probate, estate planning, and family law.

Qualifications :

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
  • Must be a licensed attorney in good standing.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in probate, estate planning, and family law.
  • Proven experience in handling cases related to divorce, child custody, child support, adoptions, and guardianship.
  • Excellent legal research, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Strong drafting skills with an ability to prepare legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, motions, contracts, wills, and trusts.
  • Ability to handle a diverse caseload and manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • High degree of professional ethics, integrity, and confidentiality.
  • Exceptional client service skills with a commitment to developing and maintaining client relationships.
  • Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
