Allied Universal is now hiring for a part-time security guard for the Mount Laurel, NJ area. The applicant must be able to walk for long distances, be proficient with computers, and have a professional demeanor. The pay rate is $21.74 per hour. We offer daily and weekly pay options, uniforms, and equipment provided at no cost. Excellent benefits and career progression are also available. Paid training is provided.

The security professional flex officer will serve and safeguard clients in various industries such as healthcare, education, and finance. The position offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you while gaining valuable experience across different industries. This role may require working irregular shifts with little to no advance notice.

Responsibilities include performing security patrols, watching for unusual conditions, sounding alarms or calling emergency services, permitting authorized persons to enter property, investigating and reporting incidents, aiding customers and employees, and making emergency notifications as necessary.

Qualifications must include a high school diploma or equivalent or five years of verifiable experience. Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws. A valid driver's license is required if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle. Applicants will undergo a background investigation and drug screen. No prior experience is required, but reliability, ability to adapt, and effective communication skills are essential.

Preferred qualifications include the ability to speak, read, and write in multiple languages and prior security or law enforcement experience.
