The Hypersonics Advanced Programs team is looking for a Systems Engineer on the Razor team for a Research and Development project. In this role, you will report to the Systems Engineering Manager. Your responsibilities may include :
- Derive requirements and interfaces and support specification development in DOORS
- Be accountable for developing, updating, coordinating, and supporting verification of a subsystem requirement specification
- Support the full life cycle of assigned subsystems or components all the way through development, test, analysis, verification, and flight test
- Support assessments of key performance parameters, technical performance measures, and requirement compliance
- Support formal system design reviews
- Support interface definition and integration of subsystems and components across the broader system
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines across a small, (hypersonic) fast-paced, dynamic program; adapting to the rapidly changing environment of a development program on a challenging schedule
- Use your excellent communication skills and self-motivating drive to work across Lockheed Martin business areas to progress towards a common goal
- Promote a positive teamwork culture within a small, diverse team spread across multiple sites

ABET Accredited Bachelor's degree in engineering fieldExperience as a systems engineer executing a missile development program and achieving a successful flight testExperience writing requirements specifications and verifying requirementsAdept at DOORS with DOORS admin experienceProficient with DXLExperience with flight software, flight computers, electrical subsystems, GPS, Inertial Measurement Units, telemetry subsystems, or hypersonic systemsExperience contributing to major milestone reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR)Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholdersSecurity Clearance Statement : This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
