Craftsmen Contractors is looking to hire experienced Industrial Electricians, Electrician Apprentices and ElectricianHelpers for the Pascagoula, Mississippi area. The Electricians will need to have a current TWIC Card. The Apprentices and Helpers do not require a TWIC initially but will need one eventually down the line once they start working. This is for a 4 year project - demo work phase and new construction of a facility afterwards. The work schedule is Monday thru Friday working day shifts. Will need to pass a pre-employment drug screen prior to being hired. Weekly pay by direct deposit. No per diem is offered.

Electrician starting pay is $28 - $33 / hr. depending on experience

Apprentices and Helpers starting pay rate is $16 - $18 / hr. depending on experience.

Need to have some experience bending conduit (EMT & rigid).

Job Responsibilities :

• Install, maintain, test, troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical equipment and associated electrical and electronic controls.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations.
• Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fibre-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures and other electrical components.
• Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.
• Install and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators and reactors.
• Maintain, repair, test and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems.
• Bend and install conduit.
• Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records.
