About The Position

Position Summary

The CT Technologist will provide diagnostic imaging services to support patient care and clinical decision-making. The role requires strong CT experience, proficiency in IV starts, and the ability to perform X-rays as needed. This position involves working with GE Revolution CT scanners and Samsung X-ray equipment, covering cases primarily focused on the abdomen, head, and chest.

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality CT and X-ray imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Initiate IV lines for contrast administration and monitor patients during imaging procedures.

Operate GE Revolution CT scanners and Samsung X-ray equipment efficiently.

Review and assess image quality, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established protocols.

Document procedures and patient information accurately in EPIC (preferred).

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to support accurate diagnoses.

Adhere to infection control, radiation safety, and departmental policies.

Provide compassionate patient care and education during imaging procedures.

Requirements

Licensure / Certifications : Active Wisconsin license, ARRT(CT) certification, and AHA BLS required

Experience : Minimum 1 year of CT experience required; previous travel experience strongly preferred

Technical Skills : Proficiency in CT, X-ray, and IV starts; EPIC charting preferred
