Freelance Designer Girls Apparel

We are looking for a Girls' Designer, newborn to 16, knits, wovens and denim for a well-known fashion company in New York, New York. This is a freelance, hybrid position requiring 3 days onsite.

Responsibilities :

Design sportswear for girls apparel knits, wovens and denim

Develop sketches for new products

Collaborate with the design team to develop ideas based on market research and trends

Create Tech Packs

Required Qualifications :

Strong knowledge of garment construction and fabric

Strong knowledge of merchandising, trend research, sketching and tech pack initiation

Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Centric PLM, Excel and MS Office

Excellent organizational skills

Motivated, self-starter
