Director of Marketing
Summary :
Manages marketing activities for the Company by performing the following duties personally.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Director of Marketing
Marketing Focus :
- Coordinate with Director of Advertising operating budget and related departmental expenses.
- Evaluate practitioner response to sales aids and promotional materials and redesign, create or otherwise prepare alternative sales aids / tools for improved response.
- From competitive marketing materials, brochures, or other marketing avenues analyze and recognize competitive threats and report activity to SVPSM.
- Oversee development and production of sales marketing promotional and collateral materials.
- Plan and oversee sales marketing promotion activities including detail sheets, brochures, in-office marketing materials, patient pads, etc.
- Management of creation and distribution of specials and promotions.
- Coordinate team members in development of style, images, and other visual elements for adaptation to project objectives. (Sales & Marketing)
- Develop and recommend product positioning and pricing strategy.
- Oversee and evaluate market research and adjust marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
- Oversee development and maintenance of customer database for marketing purposes.
- Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and strategic partners.
- Conduct marketing surveys on current and new product concepts and provide feedback for future product development.
- Coordinate digital marketing efforts including social media and website marketing oversight.
- On-line interaction and engagement with doctors including special interests, social media groups, and blogs.

Overnight travel to trade shows and other sales functions required up to 25%.
Individual must reside no more than 45 minutes drive-time to the corporate office. The position requires flexibility and ready access to both home and office thus long commutes do not portend well.
