Gilbane is seeking a Program Director to be the head of all project activities, holding overall accountability for the successful, congruent delivery of the program, with the primary objective of ensuring the integration of all construction project partners, systems, business structures and practices, harnessing the talents and insights of all participants to optimize project results, increase value for the owner, reduce waste, and maximize efficiency. This project is located outside of the Chicago metro area.

Responsibilities

Leadership :

• Effectively conveys projects vision through a variety of appropriate communication methods
• Communicates ongoing, accurate, complete, and clear information to all stakeholders regarding the reason for change and the implementation process of change, from C-Suite to Project Engineer level
• Inspires the organization through both written and verbal messages, conveys public information appropriately in a positive manner
• Creates and maintains influential relations through effective communication
• Ensures alignment of communication, processes, resources, and systems across the project with vision and direction
• Diagnoses gaps in knowledge, experience, skills and behaviour that underlie current and future performance

Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. For Illinois this ranges from $274,900-$335,900 plus benefits and retirement program.
