As part of our strategic Center of Excellence initiative, we are expanding our footprint in hospital partnerships to ensure seamless transitions from inpatient to outpatient care.\nPosition Summary\n\nThe Clinical Integration Liaison serves as the vital bridge between Beacon's outpatient services (Precise Mind) and our partner hospitals. This role is responsible for driving patient referrals, optimizing revenue cycle workflows, and enhancing continuity of care for individuals with behavioral health needs. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator with a strong grasp of healthcare operations and a passion for improving patient outcomes.\nKey Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct twice-weekly hospital rounds (2 hours each) at CMMC, Merit Health Rankin, River Region Medical Center, and other designated facilities.\n
  • Engage hospital social workers to identify unattached adult patients (18+) with depression for outpatient referral.\n
  • Schedule pre-discharge appointments in Precise Mind's EMR, ensuring continuity with inpatient providers when possible.\n
  • Attend hospital LOS meetings to promote Beacon's services and strengthen referral pipelines.\n
  • Collaborate with hospital UR and utilization nursing teams to : \n- Ensure timely documentation for billing and compliance.\n- Verify insurance coverage and resolve potential denials.\n- Coordinate peer-to-peer reviews to extend inpatient stays when clinically appropriate.\n
  • Track and report referral metrics (e.g., enrollment rates, no-show reductions) for program optimization.\n
  • Support outreach efforts, including distributing educational materials and assisting with digital campaign follow-ups.\n
  • Uphold HIPAA and Beacon's privacy standards in all communications and documentation.\nQualifications\n
  • Education & Experience : Associate's degree or higher in healthcare administration, social work, or related field. Minimum 2 years in healthcare coordination, billing, or liaison roles preferred.\n
  • Technical Skills : Proficiency in EMR systems (e.g., Epic or similar), Microsoft Office Suite, and basic data tracking tools.\n
  • Knowledge Base : Familiarity with behavioral health services, payer systems (BCBSMS, Medicaid, Medicare), and utilization review processes.\n
  • Attributes : Detail-oriented, adaptable, and self-directed with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.\n
  • Requirements : Valid driver's license and ability to travel between facilities. Occasional lifting of materials (up to 10 lbs).\nCompensation & Benefits\n
