Responsibilities Work in an ICU setting within a hospital environment Patient ratios are typically 1 : 5 Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 7 : 00 pm to 7 : 00 am Every other weekend is required Must be willing to float to other ICU units at nearby campuses as needed Uses medication scanning and Epic EMR (Epic experience preferred) On-call duties require arrival within one hour when called in Completion of up to 8 hours of pre-start modules through HealthStream is required Holiday time off will not be approved, and no RTO is permitted for major holidays or holiday weeks No more than 7 days of requested time off will be approved per assignment, and all RTO must be submitted beforehand Former permanent employees must wait at least six months before returning Dark-colored scrubs are required Candidates must provide a copy of their driver’s license and SSN prior to consideration Requirements Active OH or compact state RN license required; pending licenses not accepted Minimum two years of recent, consecutive ICU experience in a hospital or acute care setting required Current BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory Experience with medication scanning systems required Epic EMR experience is preferred Facility is smoke-free Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-623467.
