Position Overview :

Optigy is seeking an Emergency Medicine physician for a micro-hospital in San Antonio that delivers full inpatient and 24 / 7 emergency medical care. This opportunity is ideal for those trained in EM or with a primary care background and emergency experience.

ED Volume : 27,000 annual visits

ED Beds : 15

Inpatient Beds : 8

Coverage Model : 12-hour shifts with 24 hours of physician coverage daily, plus APP support

Documentation : Picis

Certifications Required : ATLS, ACLS, and PALS

Qualifications :

o BC / BP in Emergency Medicine

o OR BC / BP in Family or Internal Medicine with Emergency Medicine experience

Additional Resources :

o 24 / 7 in-house X-ray and CT

o 24 / 7 radiology reads on all modalities

o 24 / 7 ultrasound on-call

Compensation :

Base Compensation : $250-280 / hr (W2); $270-$300+ (1099)

Sign-On Bonus : $50,000

CME / BEA : $4,000 tax-free annually

New Grad Package : $6,500 + licensing costs (state & DEA) in year one
