As Manager, Application Services, you will lead quality assurance efforts across IT services, ensuring the reliability and performance of application changes that support business initiatives. You'll oversee a team of QA Analysts, drive automation strategies, and collaborate across departments to deliver high-quality software solutions. This role is ideal for someone who combines technical expertise with strong leadership and a passion for continuous improvement.

What does the Manager, Application Services do?

  • Plan and manage QA processes and resources aligned with business and IT cycles.
  • Collaborate with product and underwriting teams to support compliance, rate changes, and system enhancements.
  • Establish and enforce QA standards across new and existing applications.
  • Analyze test results and communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Identify and prioritize automation opportunities with engineering teams.
  • Oversee production support to ensure application stability and performance.
  • Implement incident management and resolution processes.
  • Provide regular reporting to senior leadership.
  • Analyze user stories and collaborate with development teams to ensure accurate implementation.
  • Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and IT teams.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of QA Analysts.
  • Foster a positive, engaging work environment aligned with organizational values.
  • Manage staffing needs, recruitment, onboarding, and performance.
  • Provide ongoing training and development aligned with industry trends.
  • Ensure accountability for all team deliverables and support cross-functional initiatives.

What is required?

Education :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field required.
  • Experience :

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in QA Testing is required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in management or lead role is required.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps is required.
  • Prior experience in the auto insurance industry is required.
  • Preferred experience with Duckcreek, Guidewire, AS / 400, .NET platforms, MS Office Suite, CRM platforms, Adobe, and Windows OS.
  • Skills and Abilities :

  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and testing metrics.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent planning and coordination skills.
  • Effective communicator across all levels of the organization.
  • Skilled in statistical reporting and analysis.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills.
  • Self-driven with a comprehensive understanding of enterprise SDLC processes.
  • Commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
