About The Position
- A Pulmonary / Critical Care Physician is needed to provide locum coverage in an inpatient ICU setting.
- The role involves patient rounding, admissions, call coverage, and critical care procedures.
- Providers should be proficient in pulmonary and ICU procedures, with preference given to those experienced in EBUS and ION.
Job Responsibilities :
Provide inpatient pulmonary and critical care coverage, including ICU rounding and admissionsManage an average of 18 ICU patients and 10 non-ICU inpatients daily, with NP supportPerform procedures including central and arterial line insertions, chest tube insertion, bronchoscopy (with BAL), thoracentesis, paracentesis, and EBUS / IONProvide ventilation management (invasive and non-invasive) and treatment for conditions such as COPD, interstitial lung disease, pneumonia, pulmonary fibrosis, and vascular diseaseParticipate in weekday shifts, nightly call, and 24-hour weekend call rotation (1 : 4)Document patient care using Cerner EMR1659428EXPTEMP
Job Requirements
