Diversified Safety Services, LLC is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to represent the Owner on a large-scale data center project . The selected individual will serve as a trusted safety partner, ensuring compliance, collaboration, and consistent safety performance across all contractors and trades on site.
This position requires someone with a proven track record of leadership in complex construction environments who can drive accountability while maintaining a calm, approachable, and professional presence on site.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all site safety efforts on behalf of the Owner.
- Conduct daily site safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments, and maintain accurate logs, reports, and safety documentation.
- Implement, monitor, and enforce project-specific safety plans, procedures, and PPE requirements.
- Lead toolbox talks, safety orientations, and training sessions for site personnel.
- Maintain regular on-site presence and actively participate in project and team meetings to provide proactive safety guidance.
- Investigate and document accidents, incidents, and near misses, ensuring corrective actions are taken to prevent recurrence.
- Partner with general contractors and subcontractors to maintain a proactive safety culture.
- Provide clear, solution-focused communication between the Owner, contractors, and internal teams.
- Support additional project-specific safety initiatives and compliance requirements as needed.
Qualifications
Minimum 10 years of construction safety experience, including lead or management-level oversight .Prior experience supporting data center or mission-critical environments .Bachelors degree in Occupational Safety or related field or BCSP certification (CSP, CHST, etc.) required.Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a professional yet easygoing personality.Ability to build relationships, drive compliance, and represent the Owners interests effectively.Diversified Safety Services is a nationwide safety consulting firm supporting contractors across all trades, from general contractors to specialty and subcontractors.
