The Medical Informatics Lab at DePaul University's School of Computing is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher to join the NSF-funded SCHOLAR project, part of the Smart and Connected Communities (SCC) Program. This interdisciplinary initiative, in collaboration with Sinai Health, aims to empower community health workers (CHWs) with advanced data-driven tools to improve healthcare access and outcomes for high-risk patients.
The postdoctoral researcher will play a key role in translating machine learning algorithms into professional software with an intuitive user interface, incorporating feedback from CHWs through iterative design and evaluation cycles. The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic team of faculty, students, and researchers, contributing to cutting-edge research in medical informatics, human-centered AI, and health technology.
This position is based in DePaul University's Medical Informatics Lab, affiliated with the Visual Informatics and Data Analytics (VIDA) group in the College of Computing and Digital Media.

The anticipated hiring range for this position is : $64,662.00 to $100,000.00 per year.
The salary range provided in this posting reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual compensation offered or earned is dependent on experience, education and other factors including departmental budget.
