Requirements
- Provide second tier support to end users by handling escalated incidents and service requests
- Responsible for handling additional project work as assigned by management
- Analyze existing systems and make proactive recommendations for improvements to customer environments and application landscapes
- May assist in implementing and supporting systems, GPO, VMware, Azure and other cloud technologies, and networking configurations
Qualifications
3+ years of recent computer, server, and network troubleshooting experienceAdvanced knowledge of current Microsoft desktop and server operating systemsAdvanced knowledge of computer and server hardwareAdvanced knowledge of server-based technologies and services such as Active Directory, Exchange, domain services, group policy objects, and other server applicationsExperience with operating system migrations (Windows 7 to Windows 10 as an example) and the associated challenges involvedExperience with creating Windows PowerShell scripts and deploymentStrong experience with Office 365 client-side support with tenant administration being a plusFamiliarity with network troubleshooting and designExperience with Remote Management and Monitoring (RMM) tools, patching, and asset managementFamiliarity with hosted cloud solutions and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)Strong system and maintenance documentation skillsExperience with ITSM tools and procedures and other service desk conceptsPrevious experience in a managed services environment preferredExperience with data center backup solutions (Azure Site Recovery, Carbonite, AppAssure, etc.) desiredBenefits
