Security Officer - Manufacturing Site

As a Security Officer in Boardman, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food / Beverage, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible throughout your shift. You will conduct routine patrols, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to everyone on site. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Pay Rate : $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

Tue 06 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Wed 06 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the food and beverage production location to help to deter unauthorized access.
  • Document and report any unusual observations, incidents, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and support a secure environment for staff and visitors.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and / or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
