As the Human Resources Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources management within our organization.

Your Impact : As the Human Resources Director, you are responsible for the leadership of an organization that sectors both Fauquier County Government and Fauquier County Public Schools. You have the opportunity to engage, inspire and influence employees. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills who is committed to delivering high quality service to County Government departments, Public Schools, and its employees. Qualifications : o 7 years of Human Resources Management experience o Understand and have experience within Human Resources, Management, partnerships, and Government / Public service. o Strong knowledge of Human Resources practices, regulations, policies, and procedures o SHRM certified is a plus

Key to Success in this role : o Excellent communication skills to employees, leaders, team, and citizens. o Strong supervisory and leadership skills o Be able to implement Human Resources policies and procedures o Manage employee relations and performance management processes o Have the ability to help leaders improve their performance and / or behaviors though guidance and advice.
