Operating Room Nurse Manager Outpatient Surgery Center
Location : Atlanta, GA
Schedule : Full-time, Onsite
Required : BSN, OR leadership experience
Join one of Atlantas premier outpatient surgery centers as our next Operating Room Nurse Manager. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume setting with a strong culture of accountability and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead day-to-day operations of 10+ operating rooms and the Sterile Processing Department (SPD)
- Supervise Charge RNs and provide clinical support (3040% of time)
- Support OR turnover, assist with breaks, charge assignments, and starting rooms as needed
- Oversee hiring, interviews, and team management, including performance issues and terminations
- Drive process improvements focused on turnover time, key clinical metrics, and patient safety
- Collaborate closely with HR and Director of Nursing
