Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an experienced MRI Technologist for weekend pediatric-focused imaging using GE and Siemens MRI systems.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a hospital MRI department with both inpatient and outpatient cases
  • Primary patient population is pediatric, including neonates, but includes all ages as well as stroke and trauma patients
  • Shift is 3x12 hours, Friday through Sunday, 7 : 00 am to 7 : 30 pm
  • Uses GE and Siemens 1.5T and 3T MRI equipment
  • No on-call requirement
  • Must float to other qualified units or campuses as needed
  • EMR system is Epic, with at least 1 year of prior Epic experience required
  • Duties include performing MRI scans on pediatric, neonatal, stroke, and trauma patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Previous experience at a children's hospital is preferred
  • Orientation is held every Monday
  • Pre-assignment modules must be completed within designated timeframe
  • Candidate must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; under 50 miles is ineligible, and 50–99.9 miles has pay adjustments
  • Scrub attire requirements will be provided by the facility

  • Current ARRT certification as a Radiologic Technologist (MRI) required
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent MRI experience, with strong pediatric scanning skills
  • Experience with GE and Siemens MRI equipment required
  • At least 1 year of experience using Epic EMR
  • License required if applicable
