Manager, Marketing Platforms & Technology
Nike's Global Shared Services Platforms & Technology team is looking for a strategic and driven Manager, Marketing Platforms & Technology to lead a team and transformative initiatives that enhance planning and data governance across the Global Marketing.
As a people leader, you will manage and mentor a high-performing team of senior specialists across our planning and data capabilities. You will foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement, empowering your team to deliver scalable solutions that support Nike's marketing excellence.
In this role, you will be responsible for a team leading the successful implementation and adoption of tools as a centralized planning platform, enabling streamlined workflows and improved cross-functional visibility through data analyses and reporting. You will also champion the development and enforcement of consistent taxonomy and metadata standards, ensuring data integrity, reporting, and operational efficiency across marketing and creative teams.
Responsibilities
- Team Leadership : Lead, mentor, and support a team of specialists, fostering a collaborative culture focused on innovation, accountability, and continuous growth.
- Strategic Planning : Define and manage the roadmap for marketing operations platforms, including planning tools, taxonomy frameworks, and data capabilities.
- Platform Optimization : Oversee the configuration and evolution of planning systems to meet business needs, ensuring scalability, usability, and cross-functional alignment.
- Stakeholder Partnership : Collaborate with marketing, creative, and operational leaders to align workflows, prioritize initiatives, and deliver integrated solutions.
- Data Governance & Taxonomy : Establish and maintain consistent taxonomy and metadata standards to support data integrity, accessibility, and compliance across platforms.
- Reporting & Insights : Ensure the team delivers reliable reporting and actionable insights that support strategic decision-making and operational visibility.
- Continuous Improvement : Identify and implement enhancements to planning, data, and reporting processes through feedback, innovation, and performance analysis.
- Project Management : Lead key initiatives from concept to execution, managing timelines, deliverables, and success metrics to ensure impact and accountability.
Requirements
Leadership experience, including coaching and developing high-performing teams.Experience in project management, workflow optimization, or data governance with managerial experience.Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, bridging technical and creative perspectives.Ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Expertise in Airtable configuration and managing large-scale tool rollouts.Strong understanding of marketing taxonomy and data governance best practices.What You'll Bring
