Pay Information

$236 per week

About The Position

Weekly Pay $65.62 / hour PT at UC Davis Health Rehabilitation Hospital

  • Provide physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for adults and geriatric patients in a 52-bed inpatient rehab hospital.
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions to restore function, improve mobility, and promote independence for patients recovering from traumatic injury or illness (e.g., TBI, SCI, orthopedic trauma).
  • Manage a caseload of 4 5 patients per day, with an expectation of 6 hours of direct patient care daily.
  • Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team (OT, Speech, Nursing, Physicians) to coordinate patient care.
  • Educate patients and families on exercises, recovery strategies, and safety practices for home.
  • Document all assessments, treatments, and progress in the Cerner EHR system.
  • Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and ensure a safe, motivating rehab environment.
  • Work per diem, with flexible scheduling and no call or float requirements.
  • Maintain compliance with hospital standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Position requires an active CA PT license, minimum 2 years acute rehab / care experience, and a degree from an accredited PT program.
  • Ideal candidates are organized, compassionate, adaptable, and strong team players with excellent neuro and orthopedic rehab skills.
